Kim Day is an exciting new Dorset artist who balances painting her own collection of work with a successful career freelancing for the film industry.
Drawing heavily on the local countryside, the simplified forms of Kim’s paintings often evoke the emotions she experiences whilst walking, cycling and swimming in nature. A restrained palette and subtle charcoal and pastel details soften the bold shapes of her abstracted landscapes, lending them a gentle charm.
