A family run artisan soap maker that uses a traditional cold production process, based on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. Each small batch of soap is lovingly handmade, and all their remedies are natural and cruelty free. They contain NO ‘nasties’ such as artificial or synthetic ingredients, plastic, palm oil, parabens, triclosan, phthalates or sls.
WHY SEASHELLS? Gently exfoliating, cleansing, restoring and anti-bacterial, seashells have also been proven to promote collagen growth, and so give you younger looking skin. Despite their natural goodness, seashells (a bi-product of the food trade) are usually dumped as land-fill. In fact, enough seashells are disposed of worldwide each year to cover the whole of London! Annings is the first to recognise the potential of this valuable resource, and, with help from the University of Cambridge, has developed a process to harness the seashell’s beneficial properties and incorporate them into our skincare routines!
