Lisa is one of those artists you stumble upon sketching in a street or field and desperately want to peer over her shoulder to see what she's up to: And you wouldn't be disappointed! Her work has a wonderfully loose style, with pencil drawings underlying ink and watercolour.
Her book and some of the cards have several sketches on one page, including tiny little moments - 'a handsome building, the backs of people sat on a bench chatting, tiny wild flowers or butterflies dancing in the breeze or simply just places visited'.
'Looking at my sketchbooks, I am transported back to sights and sounds of that day, things that I have forgotten are refreshed, sketching allows me to relive memories in a way that a photo never can'.
