An atmospheric greyscale drypoint image of Corfe Castle amongst the clouds, by Swanage artist Jeremy Hawke.
'Drypoint' is a technique where a sharp needle is used to create an image on a copper, zinc or plastic plate. This process creates a raised edge called a "burr," which is inked to produce a characteristically soft and velvety line when printed. Unlike traditional etching, drypoint uses no acid.
Signed, editioned, and titled by the artist. Each print is numbered as a limited edition in a print run of 28.
PLEASE NOTE; Each print is unique, so your print may vary in time from the image above. Some have more ink and are really moody and atmospheric, while others are lighter and brighter. Please contact us for further images if you have a preference.
